This October, Altitude is incredibly proud to be Going Red for Radio Lollipop, a global children’s charity celebrating 40 years of bringing comfort and entertainment to children in hospital.
365 days of the year, Radio Lollipop volunteers broadcast live from purpose-built radio studios in 13 hospitals across Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. Children can request songs, share stories or even become DJs for the day; bringing fun and normality during challenging times.
Over the past four decades, Radio Lollipop has reached an estimated 1 million children, powered entirely by volunteer support and community donations.
